Frontier AI Deserves FrontierGTM

A founder manifesto for building markets as ambitious as the technology itself

Introducing FrontierGTM: forward-deployed GTM strategy, hands-on execution, and specialized agent systems for the companies building AI infrastructure, agents, and the platforms developers depend on.

AI is the biggest technology gold rush of our generation.

Capital, talent, and ambition are pouring into models, inference, agents, developer tools, and AI infrastructure. New companies are being formed. New categories are emerging. The frontier is expanding faster than the market can understand it.

For the past two decades, I’ve helped bring emerging technologies to market—from open-weight model inference at Together AI, to cloud GPUs and CPUs at Vultr and DigitalOcean, to Kubernetes at Google Cloud.

Across every wave, I kept seeing the same truth:

Breakthrough products do not explain themselves.

The builders understand what has changed. They see why existing architectures will fail, what new products make possible, and where an industry is heading long before the rest of the market does.

Customers don’t.

They need someone to explain what has changed, why it matters, and why now.

That distance between invention and adoption is go-to-market.

It’s also why I created FrontierGTM.

FrontierGTM is a forward-deployed, AI-native GTM consultancy and agent company for teams building AI infrastructure, agents, and developer platforms. It combines senior strategy, hands-on execution, and specialized agent systems to help technical companies define categories, sharpen positioning, launch products, enable sales, and build AI-native go-to-market organizations.

Forward-deployed means working inside the actual GTM problem—not advising from the sidelines. FrontierGTM embeds alongside founders and teams to understand the market, make the strategic choices, ship the work, and turn what works into agents, workflows, and operating systems the company can continue using.

It is built around a simple belief:

Just as AI required AI-native infrastructure, it now requires AI-native go-to-market.

The companies building the future should not have to bring it to market using playbooks designed for the past.

The frontier is moving faster than the map

Traditional technology GTM evolved for markets that changed relatively slowly.

Products matured over years. Categories were well understood. Competitors could be reviewed quarterly. Messaging projects could take months.

AI has broken those assumptions.

Models improve weekly. Pricing changes constantly. Benchmarks become outdated almost immediately. New product categories appear overnight. The boundaries between models, clouds, inference platforms, developer tools, and applications continue to shift.

A company’s competitive position can change before its new website is even published.

Yet many AI companies still rely on lengthy messaging exercises, static battlecards, rigid launch plans, and disconnected workflows.

Those systems were built for established markets.

Today’s AI companies are building where the roads don’t exist yet.

AI-native infrastructure needs AI-native GTM

The first wave of the AI gold rush reinvented infrastructure.

Traditional clouds gave way to GPU clouds, model-serving platforms, inference engines, evaluation systems, model routers, and entirely new software stacks for running intelligent systems.

Go-to-market now faces the same transition.

AI-native GTM is not traditional marketing with AI layered on top.

It is a different operating model.

Markets can be researched continuously. Competitive changes can be detected as they happen. Customer evidence can be synthesized across thousands of signals. Positioning can evolve alongside products. Sales teams can begin every conversation with richer market and technical intelligence.

The objective is not simply to create more content.

It is to build organizations that understand markets better, learn faster, and execute with far greater leverage.

What FrontierGTM does

FrontierGTM combines three capabilities:

  • Senior GTM strategy
  • Hands-on execution
  • Specialized GTM agents

They are delivered through a forward-deployed model: close to the team, inside the real work, and accountable from strategy through implementation.

Together, they help AI companies define categories, sharpen positioning, launch products, enable sales, understand competitors, and continuously adapt as the market evolves.

The goal isn’t another strategy deck.

It’s to solve the immediate GTM problem—and leave behind a system that becomes smarter over time.

The frontier will not explain itself

The AI gold rush is opening new territory faster than the market can make sense of it.

Pioneers see what is possible first. Enduring companies make it understandable, credible, and valuable to everyone else.

That is the work FrontierGTM exists to do.

Frontier AI deserves FrontierGTM.
